Welcome to Lumen & Lilac LLC (“we,” “our,” “us”). These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and the planning services we provide. By accessing or using the site, you agree to these Terms.

2. Services

We provide wedding and event coordination, styling, and vendor coordination. The exact scope, timeline, and fees for your event will be set out in a separate proposal or services agreement. If there is a conflict between that agreement and these Terms, the services agreement controls.

3. Client Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate details, respond to requests in a timely manner, and make decisions that allow the event to be produced smoothly. You are responsible for any commitments you make directly with vendors.

4. Fees, Retainers & Payments

Most bookings require a non-refundable retainer to secure your date. Remaining balances are due according to the payment schedule in your agreement. Late or missed payments may delay or suspend services.

5. Cancellations & Changes

Cancellation must be submitted in writing. Because we reserve dates and often begin planning immediately, retainers are non-refundable. If your event date changes, we will try to accommodate, but rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur additional fees.

6. Vendors & Third Parties

We may recommend trusted vendors, but vendors remain independent contractors. We are not responsible for their acts, omissions, products, or services. You may be required to sign vendors’ own contracts and pay them directly.

7. Event Conditions & Force Majeure

We are not liable for circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, venue issues, strikes, illness, or government restrictions. In such cases, we will work with you in good faith to find alternatives.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this site — including branding, copy, design direction, mood boards, and templates — is owned by Lumen & Lilac and may not be reproduced or repurposed without permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lumen & Lilac is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim related to the services will not exceed the amount you paid us for those services.

10. Privacy

Your personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

11. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest version. By continuing to use the site or services after changes, you accept the updated Terms.
